The political situation in the US being rather confused at the moment, it would be foolish to add to the already ridiculously huge pile of political commentary another brick of political nonsense. To boot, I would have trouble laying such a brick since I truly, deeply, sincerely don't care. Over a decade ago I have successfully predicted the collapse trajectory the US would follow and can now sit back in Buddha-like contentment, repeating my favorite political mantra: "The US is not a democracy and it doesn't matter who is president." Recent developments have forced most sentient life forms to agree with me that the US is not a democracy; and it is a matter of time before they also concede that it doesn't matter who is president. The path forward for the US is perfectly clear: there isn't one. At least there isn't a path forward for the US as it had been conceived of and constituted up to but not including the present. Of course, something or other will continue happening, no matter how nasty and dismal. For example, a viable though particularly nasty development would be to bring back the institution of slavery, in the form of prison labor. The system is already in place; it just needs to be enlarged. One traditional way of enlarging it, perfected during the Great Depression, is to dispossess millions of people, then arrest and imprison them for vagrancy. I will have more to say about this later, but what I want to do here is take many steps back and look at an interesting hypothetical situation: what would Genghis do? What would come of the US if it were part of Genghis Khan's Empire of the Blue Sky? The Mongol Empire, or the Empire of the Blue Sky, once encompassed most of Eurasia and the Russian Federation, in many ways its inheritor, still encompasses a major chunk of it. When the Golden Horde (the westernmost part of the Mongol Empire) faded out, it melded with the Russian Empire which was burgeoning at the time, and as the Russian Empire spread east toward the Pacific and China it absorbed peoples already inured to Mongol rule as a superior alternative to the horrible fate of endlessly fighting each other. It took some time for the Mongol term "yasak" (tribute) to be replaced with the Russian "nalog" (tax). It is Genghis Khan's great genius, and the ethos it produced, that has produced the world's largest land empire that, under different names, has persisted for seven centuries, and that neither Napoleon nor Hitler could destroy. The Empire of the Blue Sky was prevented from expanding to the Americas by the geographic impediment of the Bering Strait (the Mongols were not seafarers, which is why they conquered and ruled Korea but not Japan). But Bering Strait was a land bridge as recently as 13000 years ago, and so this is just a quirk of timing. For the sake of this discussion, we'll assume that the descendants of Genghis were able to drive their herds and their wagons loaded with yurts across to the Americas and after a few decisive battles, and perhaps some slaughtering of the uncooperative and the unreasonable, peace was established. Let's imagine the empire died back a bit in recent decades because of drought on the prairie, but after a few years of plentiful rains its herds recovered and it came roaring back. Upon stampeding into Washington to sort things out once again... what would the Great Khan find on arrival? And what would he do about it? First, the Great Khan would find clear evidence of usurpation. You see, within the Empire of the Blue Sky princes may rule only at the pleasure of the Great Khan, expressed in a solemn document called "yarlyk" without which no claim to power is valid. The fact that in the recent presidential election the winner was announced by television networks was a usurpation of supreme power and, as such, punishable by death. Therefore, all of the executives and the staff at all of the US television networks would be made to kneel in a public place and beheaded. Second, the Great Khan would find clear evidence of treason. The Mongol understanding of the concept of treason is rather expansive; for instance, surrendering in battle instead of fighting to the death is considered treasonous. Breaking an oath taken before the people is an instance of treason par excellence, and for this reason many judges, including those of the supreme court, as well as other state and federal officials, all of whom failed to defend the rule of law by failing to act on copious evidence of election fraud, would be considered traitors. In Mongol legal practice (based on Genghis Khan's Great Yasa codex of laws) certain acts, such as, for instance, failure to render assistance to a fellow-Mongol upon request, are simply punishable by death. But treason is considered a genetic defect that can be passed from generation to generation and must therefore be eradicated rather than merely punished by death. Therefore, the entire family of a traitor must be put to death. Since a public execution that involves women and children tends to get overly dramatic and messy, the traitors and their families would be put to death right in their homes using fire. Next, the Great Khan, having just put to death most of the political class in the US, would be forced to consider who would take its place. Before him would come a great many different people representing social movements such as BLM, Antifa, SJW and LGBTQ+. They would explain to the Great Khan that reality isn't real (because postmodernism) and that only their subjective experience of oppression and discrimination is objective. The blacks would tell him about Critical Race Theory according to which the Great Khan is inherently racist. The feminists would tell him about being oppressed by the patriarchy (of which the Great Khan is a prime specimen, his right to rule based on his being a direct male descendant of Genghis). And all of them would complain about being oppressed by the White Heterosexual Male. The Great Khan would sit back slack-jawed for a moment at all of this madness and consider... To a Mongol, ethnicity is very important. It is a fractal composite of various intertwining family trees and shifting ethnic identities. Patrilineal descent helps Mongols make sense of some of this complexity. But in each place, in order to avoid ethnic strife, there must be a clearly defined superethnos whose language, customs and set of ethnic stereotypes are considered supreme and universally emulated. In the Empire of the Blue Sky as a whole the Mongols are obviously at the top of the pile, while in each place there may be a local superethnos whose language and customs prevail. In North America the local superethnos is very obviously the Anglo: everybody is expected to speak English and emulate English ethnic stereotypes. Other ethnic groups—the Jews, especially—are not part of the superethnos but are privileged within it due to their superior wealth and intelligence and hold their position thanks to excellent ethnic solidarity. At the other extreme are ethnic groups that claim to be victims of the system. The word victim is misused here; what it actually means is an animal sacrificed on a pagan altar. To the Great Khan these "victims" look like a bunch of losers. Worse than that, they seem to have poorly reconciled themselves to their roles as losers and are attempting to raise a stink about it. There are also victim groups based on something they call "gender," by which they mean something other than the old Latin masculine/feminine/neuter. This is an entirely new one for the Great Khan; to him, men are men, women are women, and stallions who keep trying to mate with other stallions are dog food. Clearly, none of these are candidates to rule in the Great Khan's name. But then what about the Anglos (and their best friends the Jews)? And then the Great Khan discovers a horrible truth: some of these Anglos have been actually kneeling in public before these losers! Such shamefaced loss of dignity precludes the Anglos from ever ruling in the Great Khan's name again. The Anglo superethnos must be purged. The Great Khan takes a deep breath, closes his eyes for a moment, and says: "Call the Chinese, tell them they can take over America. There's nobody left here to rule."
